In order to demonstrate proficiency with Articulate Storyline and gamification, I applied facts from the JPMorgan Chase website to an Articulate Storyline template.
Because this eLearning was already an available template, this was an incredibly quick project. In fact, this whole eLearning only took about 2 hours to swap out all the facts and run through a few tests of this game. This won’t surprise anyone who is familiar with the Articulate community, as the members are incredibly generous with their asset sharing. If you’d like to see the original template, you can visit its community page here.
Templates come up often when I conduct interviews for Instructional Design positions, and I’m very transparent about being able to use them. It can save the company a lot of time, money and effort when one is able to swap out the design aspects quickly. After downloading a working file, this is a simple matter of swapping out colors and fonts. For this example, I wanted to preserve the similarities between my creation and the template: However, nothing in this eLearning file needs to stay the same! All colors, design elements, gradients, etc., can be swapped out with something else. Logos could be added, framing elements which introduce the game could be incorporated… the world is our oyster in the case of eLearning files.
