About Zoe
Hi, I’m Zoe. I help organizations untangle messy learning challenges and turn them into clear, solution-focused experiences with learners at the center. I’ve spent the past seven years designing onboarding programs, sales enablement tools, AI adoption resources, and strategic learning frameworks that help teams work smarter, not harder. My background spans everything from building prompt libraries and programming AI Agents to crafting practical templates, impact maps, and discovery tools that bring structure and clarity to complex projects.
Philosophy:
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: learning should be thoughtful, intentional, and rooted in what people truly need—not just what was requested. I love digging into the “why” behind a problem, asking the questions others skip, and finding the smallest, smartest solution that moves the needle. Whether I’m revamping a legacy onboarding program or helping a sales team sharpen their message, my approach stays the same: listen deeply, design with purpose, and build with care.
At the core of my work is a simple truth: learning isn’t a single event. A single video or one-hour session can spark understanding, but it rarely creates lasting capability on its own. I design with the full journey in mind: how learners will return to the material later, how they’ll apply it on the job, and what support they’ll need to translate knowledge into action. Whether I’m building eLearning, (V)ILT, microlearning, or on-the-job resources, retention and real-world application are always the goal.
Background:
Like many “accidental instructional designers,” I was creating learning long before I knew the field existed. When I finally discovered the profession (and Cammy Bean’s book!), everything clicked. My path began at WP Live, where I worked as a WordPress consultant and quickly found myself developing resources for both customers and colleagues—job aids, sample sites, and practical tools that made complex tasks feel manageable. That experience led me to my first official Instructional Design role with Newfold Digital (formerly Endurance International Group). From there I built a career around diagnosing problems, untangling systems, and designing solutions that support whole organizations—not just individual learners.
