In order to demonstrate proficiency with Articulate Storyline and gamification, I applied facts from the JPMorgan Chase website to an Articulate Storyline template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because this eLearning module was built from an existing template, the project moved very quickly. In fact, updating the content and running a few test rounds of the game took only about two hours. Anyone familiar with the Articulate community won\u2019t be surprised\u2014its members are wonderfully generous with sharing high-quality assets. Templates often come up in my interviews for Instructional Design roles, and I\u2019m always transparent about using them when appropriate. Leveraging a well-designed template can save an organization significant time, resources, and effort, especially when the design adjustments are straightforward. After downloading a working file, it\u2019s typically just a matter of updating colors, fonts, and branding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this example, I chose to keep the layout fairly close to the original, but nothing in the template is fixed. Every element\u2014colors, gradients, shapes, interactions, and more\u2014can be customized or replaced entirely. Branding can be incorporated, new framing or intro elements can be added, and the overall look and feel can be completely reimagined. When it comes to eLearning files, we have an incredible amount of creative flexibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
